Job summary

Binnies Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) to lead site safety audits and guide contractors on risk control measures. You will ensure compliance with MOM standards and drive safe work practices on construction sites.

The role requires at least 5 years of WSHO experience, MOM registration, and strong communication to coordinate with contractors, consultants, and authorities. You will report to the WSH Manager and promote a proactive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering or Workplace Safety & Health required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as WSHO.
• MOM Registered Workplace Safety & Health Officer (WSHO) required.
• Excellent communication and ability to work with contractors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site safety audits and monitor close outs of violations.
• Identify risks and assess contractors' risk controls.
• Review methods statements and risk assessments; implement safe work procedures.
• Facilitate incident investigations and report to WSH Manager.
• Liaise with main contractor, subcontractors and authorities.
• Ensure SMM implementation and COVID-19 safety measures.
• Promote a safe working environment and safety training.
• Perform duties as assigned by Reporting Manager.
