Job summary

Modular Technology Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Registered WSH Officer to lead workplace safety on construction sites. You will implement and enforce safety measures, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance with the WSH Act and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore WSH regulations.
• Proactive with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce WSH measures in accordance with the WSH Act and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with approved Safe Work Procedures (SWPs), risk assessments, and other safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Proactively identify workplace hazards and provide practical solutions to prevent incidents.
• Supervise workers to ensure safety measures are implemented in compliance with government regulations.
• Organise monthly Safety Committee Meetings and prepare safety-related reports.
• Compile, maintain, and update WSH records and documentation.
• Ensure daily safety checklists are completed and followed up.
• Conduct Toolbox Meetings and Safety Briefings across project sites.
• Investigate workplace incidents and submit required reports to MOM.
• Liaise with MOM and other authorities on WSH matters, inspections, and queries.
• Keep abreast of regulatory updates and ensure project teams stay informed.
• Coordinate with site personnel to improve safety, housekeeping, and site cleanliness.
