Job summary

Corestaff Pte Ltd is seeking a driven WSH Officer to lead site safety initiatives on construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with Singapore’s safety and environmental regulations and foster a culture of safety on-site.

The role involves coordinating with EHS leadership, conducting toolbox talks, safety inspections, and training, and maintaining strong relationships with government bodies to uphold high safety standards.

Qualifications

• Registered WSHO and ECO with at least 5 years in construction.
• ECMO qualification is an advantage.
• Airport-related project experience is a plus.
• Dynamic, self-motivated, proactive with strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Senior Manager, EHS and Head of Project to develop, implement, maintain and improve WSH Management Systems and culture at project level.
• Lead daily toolbox meetings, safety meetings, safety inspections, training and all safety initiatives to maintain high on-site safety.
• Build and maintain rapport with government bodies on health and safety matters for personnel and workers.
• Oversee accident reporting and investigations including near misses and industrial diseases.
• Identify environmental issues and recommend corrective measures.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as required by safety regulations.
