Job summary

NCS is seeking a detail-oriented System Engineer in Singapore to manage Windows Active Directory and SCCM within our IT infrastructure team. You will design, deploy, and maintain AD, domain controllers, forests, and GPOs to ensure security and reliability across our enterprise systems.

Collaborate with IT colleagues to optimize deployments, automate tasks with PowerShell, document configurations, and participate in disaster recovery planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience administering Windows Server environments and Active Directory infrastructure.
• Advanced proficiency with System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment and patch management.
• Strong expertise in Active Directory administration, including user management, group policies, and security configurations.
• Solid understanding of Windows Server operating systems and enterprise IT infrastructure.
• Proficiency with PowerShell scripting for automation and system administration tasks.
• Experience with identity and access management (IAM) principles and best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex system issues and implement effective solutions.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with disaster recovery planning and business continuity procedures.
• Preferred: Microsoft certifications (MCSA, MCSE, or equivalent) related to Windows Server or Active Directory.
• Preferred: Experience with hybrid cloud environments or Azure Active Directory integration.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Active Directory infrastructure, including domain controllers, forests, and organizational units.
• Administer and optimize System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for software deployment, patch management, and system compliance.
• Manage user and computer accounts, group policies, and access controls within Active Directory environments.
• Monitor system performance, security, and health; identify and resolve issues proactively.
• Plan and execute software deployments, updates, and patches using SCCM to minimize downtime.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans.
• Collaborate with IT teams to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and implement solutions.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards across Windows Server environments.
• Perform regular system audits and optimization to maintain efficiency and security.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior IT staff and end-users on system-related matters.
