Job summary

UES HOLDINGS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee planning, operations, and delivery of water treatment facility or process plant projects in Singapore.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure compliance with ISO standards and safety regulations. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills with a hands-on, detail-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Must have a degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering recognized by the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore.
• At least 10 years of relevant experience in managing construction projects for water treatment facility or process plant.
• Professional project management certification (e.g., PMP, CITPM) is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Good communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
• Hands-on attitude, meticulous and analytical with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Team player with interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure, resourceful and independent with good negotiation skills.
• Able to work under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the planning and all project operations.
• Manage the progress of the project and ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to keep the schedule on track.
• Lead team to manage project operations, schedule, and specifications.
• Manage operational cost to stay within budget.
• Maintain site document filing and record keeping per ISO standards.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure contract requirement compliance.
• Monitor compliance with workplace safety and health regulations.
• Ensure project delivery quality meets requirements and regulations.
• Oversee project team and subcontractors to meet completion date.
• Provide leadership to the project management and construction team.
• Supervise daily site activities.
