Job summary

Barclays invites a Vice President Markets Compliance to provide comprehensive compliance guidance across the Markets business, with focus on Credit, FX and broader markets. You will work with front-office and control functions to interpret regulatory requirements, assess conduct and market-abuse risks, and support new products and business initiatives.

You will use data-led insights to provide oversight and constructive challenge, helping Barclays maintain effective controls and ensure adherence

Qualifications

• Relevant compliance experience at VP level within financial services.
• Ability to collaborate across global and regional teams.
• Effective, solutions-focused communication with business stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a complex environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess compliance risks through reviews of business activities, changes, processes, testing and systems.
• Investigate compliance risk events and breaches, providing oversight and constructive challenges of corrective actions.
• Implement compliance policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements, ensuring alignment with international standards.
• Collaborate with 1LOD, other Compliance teams, Legal and risk management functions to facilitate a comprehensive approach to compliance and risk management.
