Job summary

BEATHCHAPMAN (PTE. LTD.) in Singapore seeks an experienced M&A advisory professional to support overseas business development, re-organization, and direct investment for Japanese and non-Japanese companies across APAC.

You will assist cross-border M&A origination and execution, develop information materials, and coordinate with legal counsels and external professionals while building robust financial models and preparing valuations and teasers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience in M&A or corporate finance roles.
• Business-level proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) is required.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Play a key role in advisory services supporting overseas business development, re-organization, and direct investment for Japanese and non-Japanese companies across APAC.
• Support cross-border M&A origination and execution through industry/market research, target company long-lists and short-lists, and preparation of teasers and discussion materials for clients.
• Develop and maintain information materials to support origination efforts.
• Coordinate with legal counsels, accountants and other external professionals, managing the Q&A process and arranging meetings including management presentations.
• Build, manage and revise financial models and perform valuation analysis, including comparable company analysis, comparable transaction analysis and DCF.
• Support M&A strategy development through company, financial, business and market position analysis, and prepare information memorandums and client correspondence.
