Job summary

Health Promotion Board in Singapore is seeking a capable programme manager to support the Healthy Ageing Programmes. You will help develop and implement senior volunteer capability and plans to support Active Ageing Programmes in the community, coordinating with AACs and partners to create meaningful volunteer opportunities.

You will build practical training curricula and guides to equip senior volunteers to run hobby groups and physical activity activities, and collaborate with internal teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work, Public Health, HR, Education, Psychology or related discipline; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and applying them to volunteer training.
• Strong collaborative and stakeholder engagement skills across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and oral communication for diverse audiences including seniors and government stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support development and implementation of HPB’s senior volunteer capability and implementation plans for Active Ageing Programmes.
• Identify, develop and operationalise meaningful volunteer opportunities with partners and AACs nationwide.
• Develop structured training curriculum, resources and implementation guides for senior volunteers.
