Orion Systems Integration Pte Ltd is seeking a Vision Engineer to design and implement advanced machine vision solutions for semiconductor manufacturing. The role blends independent contribution with collaboration across multi‑disciplinary teams to develop reliable PC‑based vision software and hardware configurations.

You will work on defect detection, feature recognition, and real‑time processing, leveraging libraries like OpenCV and Halcon, and applying DL models for high accuracy inspection.

Formación

• Diploma or bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in computer vision, image processing, or machine learning, using libraries/frameworks such as Halcon, Cognex VisionPro, Matrox, Keyence, OpenCV, Omron, Vision Master.
• Proficiency in C# and C++ for vision and automation applications.
• Strong understanding of vision hardware components — optics, lenses, lighting.
• Familiarity with machine vision, industrial automation, and PLC integration is an advantage.
• Knowledge of deep learning architectures (CNNs, GANs, Transformers) for visual recognition is preferred.
• Experience with real‑time processing, embedded systems, or hardware acceleration (CUDA, FPGA) is a plus.
• Self‑motivation and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills in English.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and optimize computer vision systems for defect detection and automation in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Evaluate customer samples to define machine vision hardware and software requirements.
• Develop custom machine vision solutions using programming or configuration tools and image libraries.
• Create PC-based vision software applications with UI and system architecture.
• Implement and optimize deep learning vision models for high speed inspection.
• Perform system installation, calibration, and fine‑tuning at customer sites.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate vision with automation and robotics.
• Maintain documentation for system design, tests, and compliance; provide training.
• Support production and maintenance teams in troubleshooting and improving existing vision systems.
