Job summary

MICRON SEMICONDUCTOR ASIA OPERATIONS PTE LTD in Singapore is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to design and implement computer vision and deep learning models for manufacturing and environmental monitoring, using large, multi-source data.

You will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, business engineers, and UX teams to identify questions and drive data analysis projects, deploying end-to-end solutions and providing actionable insights to product teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Data Science with minimum 3 years of data science experience.
• Foundation in statistical modeling, analytics, and modern machine learning techniques.
• Experience in semiconductor yield analysis and process optimization (e.g., analyzing FDC, SPC, Probe data).
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in computer vision and deep learning in image analytics with knowledge of image processing techniques.
• Experience deploying end-to-end production-grade AI solutions in cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Proficiency with web development such as Angular or FastAPI or Docker.
• Strong Python skills with at least 3 years hands-on experience in SQL.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement computer vision systems and deep learning models for object detection, segmentation, anomaly detection, and automated inspection.
• Apply advanced AI techniques including few-shot learning, generative AI, and multimodal fusion to solve manufacturing and environmental monitoring challenges.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with engineering, operations, and quality teams, including project management, technical writing, and mentoring engineers in data science tools.
• Design, develop, and program methods, processes, and systems to consolidate and analyze large diverse data sources to generate actionable insights for product improvement.
• Interact with product and service teams to identify questions and issues for data analysis and experiments.
• Deploy data science models end-to-end, including solution design, development, deployment, model maintenance and monitoring.
• Identify relevant insights from large data and metadata sources; interpret and communicate findings to product, service, and business managers.
