Job summary

V.SHIPS ASIA GROUP PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks an experienced Vessel Manager to oversee technical performance, budgets and maintenance for the fleet. You will act as the on-shore point of contact for day-to-day operations and mobilisations, ensuring compliance with laws and surveys, and coordinating repairs with engineers and owners.

The role requires strong planning, communication and budgeting skills, with a proactive approach to problem solving and collaboration across the fleet team.

• Experience in similar vessel management roles.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Interpersonal skills to engage with people at all levels.
• Excellent planning and organisational abilities.
• Basic financial understanding and budget administration experience.

Responsibilities

• Technical management and performance of vessels, including technical budgets.
• On-shore contact point for day-to-day operation and mobilisation activities.
• Monitor compliance with laws, regulations, and statutory surveys.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise ship repairs and dry-docking with stakeholders.
• Lead Vessel Condition Assessments with Owners.
• Contribute to the Fleet Manager and ShipSure team with maintenance feedback.
