Job summary

Pacific International Lines is seeking a proactive Vessel Manager to oversee the operations and ensure compliance of assigned ships. The role involves extensive ship management duties including budget management, vessel inspections, and technical assistance.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with COC Class 1 certification required.
• Experience managing ships with low carbon fuels preferred.
• Proven track record as Chief Engineer or Vessel Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned ships.
• Evaluate deck condition and machinery performance monthly.
• Ensure timely completion of PMS activities.

Skills

Experience as Chief Engineer onboard Ocean-going vessels

Experience as Technical Superintendent / Vessel Manager

Experience in handling and managing ships powered by low carbon fuels

Self-driven and proactive

Ability to work independently

Team player

Education

Graduate Engineer and/or holder of COC Class 1 (Unlimited FG)

Diploma or Degree Holder in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
