Job summary

ANGLO-EASTERN SHIPMANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD seeks a Senior Vessel Manager to oversee a fleet of chemical vessels, ensuring safe operation and compliance with international safety standards. You will supervise dry-dockings, inspections, and investigations, while maintaining documentation and budgets for your ships.

Applicants should have Class 1 COC and substantial sailing and shore-based management experience with chemical tankers to lead technical operations effectively.

Qualifications

• Must possess Class 1 COC.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• Minimum 1 year sailing as Chief Engineer on chemical tankers.
• 2–6 years shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for safe operation of a fleet of chemical vessels assigned to you.
• Supervise dry-dockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations and ensure vessels' certifications are up to date and compliant with international safety standards.
• Manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.

Job Responsibilities

• As a Senior Vessel Manager, you will assume full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Chemical vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise dry-dockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• You will also judiciously manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Class 1 COC.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• Minimum 1 year sailing experience as Chief Engineer managing chemical tankers.
• 2-6 years of shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent managing chemical tankers.
