Job summary

ANGLO-EASTERN SHIPMANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Deputy Fleet Manager to oversee safe operation of a fleet of gas vessels. The role requires detailed supervision of day-to-day vessel performance, dry-dockings, repairs, inspections, and technical investigations.

You will ensure compliance, certification, and documentation meet international safety standards while judiciously managing vessel budgets and producing regular reports.

Qualifications

• Class 1 COC is required.
• At least 10 years sailing experience.
• At least 1 year sailing as Chief Engineer on chemical tankers.
• 6–9 years shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent on gas tankers.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for safe operation of a fleet of gas vessels.
• Supervise dry-dockings and repairs, vessel inspections and technical investigations.

Job Responsibilities

• As a Deputy Fleet Manager, you will assume full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Gas vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise dry-dockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• You will also judiciously manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.

Job Requirements

• Possess Class 1 COC.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• Minimum 1 year sailing experience as Chief Engineer managing chemical tankers.
• 6-9 years of shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent managing gas tankers.
