Job summary

ANGLO-EASTERN SHIPMANAGEMENT (S) PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Deputy Fleet Manager to lead the safe operation of a gas vessel fleet. You will oversee day-to-day vessel performance, inspections, and compliance with international safety standards, and coordinate dry-dockings and repairs.

You will also manage budgets for the fleet and prepare regular performance and safety reports for senior management. A Class 1 COC and extensive sailing experience are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Must possess Class 1 COC.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• At least 1 year as Chief Engineer on chemical tankers.
• 6-9 years shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent.

Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities

• As a Deputy Fleet Manager, you will assume full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Gas vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise dry-dockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• You will also judiciously manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.

Job Requirements

• Possess Class 1 COC.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• Minimum 1 year sailing experience as Chief Engineer managing chemical tankers.
• 6-9 years of shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent managing gas tankers.
