Job summary

ANGLO-EASTERN SHIPMANAGEMENT (SINGAPORE) PTE LTD is seeking a Senior/Vessel Manager to take full responsibility for the safe operation of a fleet of gas vessels. You will supervise dry-dockings, inspections, and repairs, and ensure certifications meet international safety standards.

You will manage vessel budgets and produce regular reports, drawing on extensive sailing and leadership experience to coordinate shore-based vessel management activities.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class 1 COC.
• Requires extensive sailing experience (10+ years).
• At least 1 year sailing as Chief Engineer on chemical tankers.
• 1–6 years shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent for gas tankers.

Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for safe operation of a fleet of gas vessels.
• Supervise dry-dockings and repairs; carry out vessel inspections; conduct technical investigations; ensure certifications and documentation are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• Manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.

10 years sailing experience

Job Responsibilities

• As a Senior/Vessel Manager, you will assume full responsibility for safe operation of a Fleet of Gas vessels assigned to you.
• Besides day to day close monitoring of vessels, you will be required to supervise dry-dockings and repairs, carry out vessel inspections, conduct technical investigations, ensure certification and documentation of vessels under your charge are up to date and meet international safety standards.
• You will also judiciously manage budgets allocated to vessels and produce regular reports.

Job Requirements:

• Possess Class 1 COC.
• Minimum 10 years sailing experience.
• Minimum 1 year sailing experience as Chief Engineer managing chemical tankers.
• 1-6 years of shore-based experience as Vessel Manager/Technical Superintendent managing gas tankers.
