Job summary

PALO IT Singapore is seeking a seasoned UX/UI Design Lead to drive design strategy for client projects. You will translate user research into actionable insights, oversee usability audits, and craft wireframes and clickable prototypes across web and mobile platforms.

You will mentor junior designers, engage stakeholders, and shape the end-to-end user experience in an agile setting, leveraging AI tools to enhance UX research and design workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field required.
• 4–6 years experience in UX/UI design.
• Experience as design lead for multiple complex projects (3–5).
• Experience designing consumer-facing apps influencing behavior.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and strategize on design direction of the product
• Be familiar with user research methods and have the capability to turn large research studies into actionable insights.
• Drive design/usability audits and heuristic evaluations.
• Visualize, design and conceptualize the user experience.
• Present concepts and UX solutions as compelling stories to clients
• Have great communication and presentation skills, be an active listener and be able to represent the users’ needs as well as gather user requirements.
• Lead co-creation & journey mapping sessions. Possess a solid understanding of design research methodologies.
• Create detailed wireframes, define interaction specifications and build clickable prototypes.
• Mentor and advice junior designers

YOUR PROFILE

You are passionate about new technologies, digital innovations, and design. You might be working in large teams or as an individual contributor; however, you have a fair understanding of Agile environments.

You would be excited about taking on challenges of client projects and would be willing to initiate UX design activities in such work environments.

You are also curious about how AI is changing the digital design space, and have actively explored and picked up relevant skills and tools.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Multimedia, Information Architecture, Human Computer Interaction, Instructional or Graphic Design, or a related field.
• At least 4-6 years of experience in the field of UXUI, product design
• Experience as design lead for at least 3-5 complex projects
• Designing consumer facing apps that influences habit-forming behaviour and mindset change
• Understanding of motion design, HTML, CSS and other technical platforms.
• Knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and/or other design tools
• Experience leveraging on AI tools for UX research and UI design work e.g. Figma Make, Claude, ChatGPT, Replit, GitHub Copilot, etc.
• Experience designing digital experiences web and mobile platforms.
• Good communication skills and the ability to present your designs to clients and teams.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee project timelines and ensure deliverables are met according to schedule
• Skilled in managing client relationships and engaging with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to guarantee alignment and successful outcomes
