Job summary

Lonza Singapore is seeking an Analyst/Senior Analyst in Cell Culture Development to join the Development Services team. You will perform hands-on upstream cell culture work and contribute to process development for cGMP manufacturing, collaborating closely with global project teams in a dynamic laboratory environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant Science field or equivalent.
• Hands-on laboratory work in cell culture and lab-scale bioreactor runs.
• Experience with mammalian suspension cells is beneficial.
• Understanding of cGMP regulations.
• Good problem solving, analytical and teamworking skills.
• Ability to work on a weekend rota.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on laboratory work in the upstream cell culture team contributing to the development of processes suitable for the cGMP manufacturing.
• Conduct routine mammalian cell culture processes including subcultures, Ambr mini bioreactors, Ambr250 miniaturised bioreactors, rocking bioreactors and 10L laboratory scale bioreactors.
• Develop an understanding of cGMP manufacturing facility constraints and their impact on development activities.
• Contribute to process characterisation activities by performing supporting laboratory scale studies.
• Interpret analytical data provided by the analytical team to define subsequent steps.
• Working as part of a site and global project teams to ensure timely delivery of project work stages.
• May work weekends and public holidays as part of a rotational schedule.
