ARYAN SOLUTIONS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Senior UNIX/Linux Engineer (L3) to design, build, secure, and support enterprise UNIX/Linux infrastructure across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Linux infrastructure, security hardening, high availability, storage, automation, virtualization, and cloud technologies. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable infrastructure and support lifecycle handover.

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of UNIX/Linux infra engineering and administration experience.
Proficient with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Oracle Linux deployments.
Experience with operating system security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
Strong knowledge of Linux patching, system services, access controls, and security configuration.
Experience with high-availability and clustering technologies.
Hands-on experience with VCS clustering or similar enterprise clustering solutions.
Strong Shell scripting skills for infrastructure automation.
Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
Experience with VMware virtualization environments.
Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Knowledge of SAN/NAS/LVM storage and Linux networking.
Experience with server provisioning and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Experience supporting production environments and resolving complex L3 incidents.
Capacity planning and system performance analysis.
Disaster recovery principles and implementation.
Technical documentation and knowledge-transfer capabilities.
Communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, build, and maintain enterprise UNIX/Linux servers.
Build and configure Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Perform Linux server configuration and security hardening based on standards.
Configure storage, networking, security controls, and OS services.
Support infrastructure design, migration, deployment, and cutover activities.
Collaborate with application, database, network, cloud, storage, and cybersecurity teams.
Participate in project planning, technical design reviews, and infrastructure implementation.
Ensure readiness for onboarding, releases, and production deployments.
Configure and support high-availability and clustering solutions.
Develop Shell and Python scripts to automate provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operations.
Implement configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Standardise server builds, configurations, and deployment procedures.
Perform OS patching, vulnerability remediation, and security updates.
Troubleshoot complex L3 incidents; monitor capacity and performance.
Assist disaster recovery planning, testing, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory requirements.
Develop design documents, build docs, SOPs, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Conduct knowledge transfer to operations teams.
