aryan solutions pte. ltd. is seeking a Senior UNIX/Linux Engineer (L3) to design, build, and support enterprise UNIX/Linux infrastructure across Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments in Singapore.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Linux infrastructure, security hardening, high availability, storage, automation, and cloud technologies. You will collaborate with application, database, network, cloud, and security teams to deliver reliable, secure infrastructure for

Qualifications

Minimum 10 years of UNIX/Linux infrastructure engineering and administration.
Strong hands-on experience with RHEL and Oracle Linux.
Experience implementing operating system security hardening and vulnerability remediation.
Strong Shell scripting skills for infrastructure automation.
Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation.
Experience with VMware virtualization environments.
Experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
Experience with high-availability and clustering technologies.
Good understanding of networking concepts and Linux network configuration.
Experience supporting enterprise production environments and resolving complex L3 incidents.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, build, and maintain enterprise UNIX/Linux servers.
Build and configure Development, Test, UAT, and Production environments.
Perform Linux server configuration and security hardening based on established standards.
Configure storage, networking, security controls, and OS services.
Support infrastructure design, implementation, migration, deployment, and cutover activities.
Work closely with application, database, network, cloud, storage, and cybersecurity teams.
Participate in project planning, technical design reviews, and infrastructure implementation activities.
Ensure infrastructure readiness for application onboarding, releases, and production deployments.
Configure and support high-availability and clustering solutions.
Develop Shell and Python scripts to automate server provisioning, configuration, monitoring, and operational activities.
Implement configuration management and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
Standardise server builds, configurations, and deployment procedures.
Perform operating system patching, vulnerability remediation, and security updates.
Troubleshoot complex L3 operating system, infrastructure, storage, performance, and connectivity issues.
Monitor system capacity and performance and recommend improvements where required.
Support disaster recovery planning, implementation, testing, and documentation.
Ensure infrastructure complies with applicable security, organisational, and regulatory requirements.
Develop and maintain technical design documents, build documents, SOPs, operational runbooks, and knowledge articles.
Conduct knowledge transfer and handover to operations and support teams.
