Job summary

1011 United Overseas Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Unit Trust Operations professional to oversee end-to-end processing and administration of Unit Trust transactions. You will ensure accurate processing, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance while coordinating with internal teams, outsourced service providers, and fund houses.

The role requires 3–5 years of Unit Trust operations experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and in a team

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Banking, Accounting, or related disciplines.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Unit Trust Operations, Fund Administration, Wealth Management Operations, or related banking operations.
• Strong understanding of Unit Trust products, transaction lifecycle, and operational processes.
• Experience with outsourced vendors is an advantage.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to interact with colleagues and external parties.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the Unit Trust Operation processing team to ensure service delivery standards are met.
• Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance capabilities.
• Act as liaison between internal teams and outsourced vendors for timely processing.
• Support business teams in new initiatives and product launches.
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs with dashboards and reviews.
• Review incidents, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform due diligence on outsourced providers and day-to-day follow-up.
• Ensure transactions comply with policies, regulations, and SLAs.
• Support audits, compliance reviews and due diligence activities.
• Maintain current SOPs and process controls.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve productivity and reduce risk.
• Participate in project discussions and drive process improvements.
