Job summary

CHUBB Insurance Singapore Limited is seeking a senior technical underwriter to lead complex Property and Terrorism programmes for multinational clients. Reporting to Head of Property, the successful candidate will manage a portfolio across distribution channels and engage brokers and clients at senior levels.

This role emphasizes autonomy, technical pricing, policy wordings, and risk analytics, with opportunities for strategic input and leadership within Chubb's Asia-Pacific Property portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–10 years of Property underwriting experience in Major Accounts or Large Corporate.
• Strong technical expertise in Property and Terrorism underwriting for complex programmes.
• Experience reviewing manuscript policy wordings and bespoke endorsements.
• Knowledge of global catastrophe underwriting principles and risk analytics.
• Experience managing senior stakeholders including global brokers and multinational clients.
• Understanding multinational programme structures with master/local policy frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, commercial and risk assessment capabilities.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Experience underwriting Property across multiple Asian markets.
• Exposure to risk engineering collaboration on large industrial accounts.

Responsibilities

• Lead underwriting and pricing of complex Property and Terrorism risks, including multinational and structured programmes.
• Drive profitable new business growth and foster relationships with brokers, clients and market partners.
• Coordinate multinational programme management across Risk Engineering, Claims and regional colleagues.
• Ensure governance, compliance and risk management in line with guidelines and regulations.
