Bureau Veritas Buildings & Infrastructure PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor for tunnel projects in Singapore.

You will supervise tunnel construction activities, ensure compliance with drawings and standards, and coordinate with engineers, contractors and clients on site. The role requires a Diploma in Civil Engineering, QSS accreditation under JAC (IES/ACES), and RTR (Tunnel) accreditation, with a minimum of 3 years tunnelling supervision experience.

Qualifikationen

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent recognized in Singapore.
• Relevant tunnelling supervision experience is essential.
• Accredited as QSS under JAC (IES/ACES) is required.

Aufgaben

• Carry out site supervision and inspection of tunnel construction works to ensure compliance with drawings, specs and contract requirements.
• Monitor tunnelling activities, including TBM operations, underground structures, deep excavation and station box construction.
• Ensure workmanship and materials comply with approved standards and project requirements.
• Witness site tests, inspections and quality control activities.
• Monitor contractors' progress and report non-conformances, safety concerns, or quality issues.
• Maintain accurate site records, daily reports and construction documentation.
• Ensure works comply with Workplace Safety and Health regulations and project safety requirements.
• Coordinate with Resident Engineer, contractors, consultants and client representatives on site matters.
• Assist in monitoring instrumentation and excavation activities where required.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on progress and technical issues.
• Perform standing supervision duties when required.

Candidate Requirements

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or an equivalent qualification recognized in Singapore.
• Accredited as a Qualified Site Supervisor (QSS) under the Joint Accreditation Committee (JAC) of IES/ACES.
• Accredited as Resident Technical Officer (Tunnel) under the IES/ACES Specialist Accreditation Programme.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant tunnelling supervision experience.
