Job summary

DAEWOO-DONGAH JOINT VENTURE is seeking an experienced tunnelling engineer to plan and supervise boring operations, focusing on safety, quality and productivity. The role involves final ring selection and key design decisions for TBM-driven tunnelling projects.

Ideal candidates have substantial post-education in civil engineering, with extensive experience in tunnelling construction and the ability to work under compressed air on challenging sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering experience after tertiary education in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of experience in construction supervision of tunnelling works of similar scale, complexity and nature of work.
• TBM experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide planning of tunnelling operation from safety, quality, and productivity viewpoint.
• Provide engineering supervision to bored tunnelling operation, including final ring selection and selection of key.
• Ensure the work is done in compliant with the protocol established for the project.
• Whole related Tunnel Engineering Work.

Job description
