Job summary

Bank of China Limited Singapore Branch seeks an experienced Treasury professional to develop and implement money market, funding and liquidity strategies across multi-currency desks. You will identify revenue opportunities and analyse funding curves to improve profitability and balance sheet efficiency.

The role requires strong knowledge of FTP/ALM, MAS regulations, and collaboration with Risk, Finance, Operations and Compliance to drive initiatives and governance improvements.

Qualifications

• Min 5 year experience in Treasury, Money Market, liquidity management, funding or ALM within a banking environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement money market, funding and liquidity strategies to optimise funding costs, balance sheet efficiency and sustainable desk profitability.
• Identify revenue opportunities across money market deposits, repo, FX swaps and other funding and investment instruments, considering market conditions, liquidity needs and risk appetite.
• Analyse funding curves, liquidity positions, market developments and desk performance to recommend strategies across currencies, products and tenors.
• Manage and enhance Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) methodology and support effective Pricing, funding allocation and balance sheet management.
• Maintain strong knowledge of MAS regulatory requirements, including LCR, NSFR and other relevant liquidity requirements, and incorporate regulatory considerations into funding and investment strategies.
• Drive strategic initiatives including new funding channels, products, market access and Treasury capabilities to enhance revenue and funding diversification.
• Manage Treasury-related audit and control matters, address audit findings and strengthen the desk’s governance and control framework.
• Review and improve the money market desk’s end-to-end workflow, identifying opportunities for process simplification, automation and stronger controls.
• Work closely with the department Head across Risk, Finance, Operations, Compliance and business units on Treasury and balance sheet initiatives.
