AMBITION GROUP SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. supports a global financial markets technology firm in recruiting a Senior Trading Platform Support Engineer to back mission-critical trading and market data platforms serving worldwide markets.

This role requires experience with exchange, trading, market data, or capital markets platforms in a fast-paced production environment. You will act as the senior escalation point for production incidents, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with engineering

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in supporting trading systems or market data platforms.
• Experience serving exchanges, trading or capital markets environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and incident management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide production support for trading and market data platforms with high availability.
• Serve as senior escalation point for production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement permanent fixes and platform enhancements.
• Support testing, configuration changes, and production releases.
• Monitor environments, databases, and batch jobs to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse system and market data using SQL and UNIX/Linux tools.
• Assist client onboarding, API connectivity, and access provisioning.
• Coordinate with regional teams across the globe.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience supportingexchange, trading, market data, or capital markets platformsin a fast-paced production environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide production support for trading and market data platforms, ensuring high system availability and performance.
• Act as the senior escalation point for production incidents, troubleshooting complex technical and trading-related issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and work closely with engineering teams to implement permanent fixes.
• Support platform enhancements, configuration changes, testing, and production releases.
• Monitor production environments, databases, batch jobs, and platform health to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyse system and market data using SQL, UNIX/Linux, and internal monitoring tools.
• Support client onboarding, API connectivity, access provisioning, and platform configuration.
• Collaborate with global technology, operations, and business teams across multiple regions.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience supportingtrading systems, exchange technology, market data, or capital markets platforms.
• Strong knowledge ofequities, options, futures, or financial market data.
• Hands-on experience withUNIX/Linux, SQL, and production support in a 24/7 environment.
• Exposure toAWS or other cloud platforms.
• Experience with scripting (Python preferred) is an advantage.
• Excellent troubleshooting, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
