Job summary

DBS Bank Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Trade Finance Operations professional to manage daily transaction authorizations (Import/Export, SBLC issuance) and ensure timely processing within SLAs. You will lead a team of processors, establish duty rosters, monitor risk and compliance, and collaborate with STMO, BU, GTS to deliver accurate, customer-centric outcomes.

Strong knowledge of UCP600, ISBP, URC522, ISP98, URR725 and SWIFT messaging is essential, as is the ability to escalate

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years working in Trade Finance Operations within a bank, with at least 2 years of experience in authorization, preferably in the Structured and Commodity Finance environment covering all Trade Finance products (Import/Export/SBLC issuance).
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the organization and stakeholders.
Extensive knowledge of Trade Finance products and regulatory sanction requirements.
Proficient in SWIFT messages and related compliance considerations.

Responsibilities

Manage daily Trade Finance transactions authorization (Import/Export/SBLC issuance).
Allocate and distribute ready-to-process transactions to processors at the beginning of day.
Establish duty rosters for processors and authorizers; monitor and escalate issues.
Ensure transactions comply with operating and compliance procedures and SLAs.
Collaborate with STMO, BU, GTS and other stakeholders on daily transactions.
Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure SOP adherence.
