Job summary

Seatrium Limited in Singapore seeks an experienced Piping Engineer to lead piping design and planning for offshore and shipyard projects. You will coordinate with stakeholders, prepare MDLs, and monitor budgets and schedules.

You will guide a team of piping engineers and designers, manage interfaces with construction, and ensure compliance with piping standards (ASME, ASTM, API). Proficiency in 3D modeling tools is expected (Navisworks, SmartPlant, Aveva).

Qualifications

• At least 8 years of piping engineering experience.
• Experience in Offshore/Shipyard projects, rig/ship building.
• Experience in FPSO projects, topsides and marine.
• Solid knowledge of Topside Piping Design and Planning.
• Familiar with ASME, ASTM, API and Classification Society standards.
• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient with Excel is preferred.
• 2D applications such as AutoCAD.
• 3D model review applications such as Navisworks.
• 3D modeling applications such as SmartPlant, Aveva, Cadmatic.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project planning including work scopes, manhours, and interfaces.
• Prepare Master Document List (MDL) for piping scope with forecast dates.
• Align piping input data with stakeholders to define output forecast dates.
• Lead piping engineers and designers for project execution.
• Review and monitor piping design progress and related budgets.
• Prepare and raise TQF/EVO for piping works.
• Coordinate piping output with construction teams and ensure required information is included.
• Monitor 3D model, P&ID revisions, and interface points with other disciplines.
