Job summary

EY seeks a Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong business analysis capabilities and a good understanding of .NET-based applications and enterprise technology solutions. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, translating needs into clear functional and technical requirements and supporting solutions throughout the delivery lifecycle.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Business Analyst within technology projects.
Strong requirements gathering, requirements analysis, documentation and stakeholder management.
Good understanding of .NET/C# application environments and software development concepts.
Good understanding of REST APIs, web services, system integrations and relational databases/SQL.

Responsibilities

Engage business stakeholders to understand objectives, processes, pain points and system requirements.
Gather, analyse and document business, functional and technical requirements.
Translate business requirements into clear functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with developers, solution architects, QA teams and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and implemented.
Support solution discussions for .NET-based applications, including functionality, APIs, databases and system integrations.
Perform functional and technical impact analysis for new requirements and changes.
Facilitate requirements workshops and manage clarifications throughout the project lifecycle.
Support backlog refinement, sprint planning and other Agile delivery activities.
Support SIT and UAT, including test scenario prep, defect clarification and traceability.
Identify gaps, dependencies, risks and opportunities for improvements.
Manage changes to requirements and assess impact on scope and delivery.
Prepare project documentation and provide updates to stakeholders.
Independently manage requirements for assigned applications or workstreams and mentor junior team members.
