Qualifications

• Nitec level education in any discipline is essential.

Responsibilities

• Check the booking schedule for batch making and support batch operations.
• Calibrate weighing devices daily and document results per GMP standards.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols at all times.
• Set up equipment per SOP and Batch Production Records.
• Clean and sanitize equipment and ancillary items as required.
• Receive and verify raw materials against Batch Production Records.
• Assess raw materials for safety (GHS) and take necessary precautions.
• Execute production instructions with supervision or independently where allowed.
• Complete procedures and safely shut down equipment.
• Collect samples and record measurements (pH, rheology).

About the role

This role is responsible for the production of trial batches for P&G for: (1) Hair Care Products, (2) Skin Care Products, (3) Home Care Products and (4) any other products as mutually agreed from time to time. The role operates within a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment and requires working from height (platform), heavy lifting (<20kgs), handling hot water/fluids (80°C), wearing PPE and maintaining safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Check the booking schedule for batch making in advance and support the batch making operation.
• Conduct, verify and record daily calibration of weighing devices within the pilot plant according to P&G standards.
• Wear relevant and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Set-up the relevant equipment to be ready for use prior to making batches according to SOP and Batch Production Record provided by P&G.
• Clean equipment and perform sanitization of equipment, including ancillary items when required and requested.
• Receive Raw Materials (RM) from Pre-weigh and verify relevance and accuracy of materials including GCAS, expiry date and quantities, against Batch Production Record.
• Take note of the risk factor of each RM via the label containing the Global Harmonization System (GHS) symbols and take the necessary safety precautions in accordance to P&G requirement.
• Execute equipment operation and RM addition following production instructions either supervised by researchers or independently where authorized to do so.
• Carry out completion procedures and equipment shut down.
• Collect FP samples, label and perform measurements such as pH and rheology.

About you

• Nitech in any discipline and above (essential)
• Some experience in Process Laboratory, Process Manufacturing, Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing (preferred)
• Able to communicate in English both in written form and verbally.
• Basic computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Able to operate simple machinery and possess basic understanding of flowchart or workflow.
