Job summary

GMP Technologies (S) Pte Ltd is seeking a production operator to manage unit operations including preparation, charging, temperature control, sampling and workup. You will follow GMP/SOPs, prepare batches, and document production activities.

The role involves 12-hour shifts and potential startup support for a new facility, with exposure to cleanroom environments and liaising with teams in China and overseas.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a relevant engineering or life sciences field.
• 1–2 years in pharmaceutical manufacturing is helpful.
• GMP and cleanroom familiarity is a plus.
• Good English and Chinese communication; liaising with stakeholders.
• Able to work 12-hour shifts during operation.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manufacturing equipment and production processes according to SOPs and GMP requirements.
• Support production activities including equipment setup, operation, cleaning, and material handling.
• Perform routine checks and ensure smooth execution of manufacturing operations.
• Complete batch records and production documentation accurately.
• Follow safety, quality, and operational procedures at all times.
• Escalate equipment issues or process deviations to supervisors.
• Support line clearance, cleaning verification, and housekeeping activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support startup activities for the new facility

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Technology, Life Sciences, or related disciplines

• Min. 1-2 year of experience in pharmaceutical industry

• Familiarity with GMP and cleanroom environments is an advantage.

• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Strong English and Chinese (Mandarin) communication skills — reading, writing and speaking, to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in China and overseas is preferred

• Able to work 12hours shifts when plant is operational ready or standby when required

• Open to candidates with no prior experience
