Job summary

ST Engineering in Singapore East is seeking a qualified technician to inspect and service military aircraft components, ensuring compliance with OEM manuals and safety standards. The role requires proactive individuals willing to work rotating shifts and airbase environments.

Applicants should hold a Diploma/NITEC in Aerospace Technology or Aerospace Engineering, with Singaporean status due to project constraints. Ex-RSAF candidates with aviation experience are an advantage.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Aerospace Technology/Aerospace Engineering required.
• Independent, proactive and self-motivated for continuous improvement.
• Willing to work rotating shifts and at airbases.
• Singaporean only due to project requirement.
• Ex-RSAF with aircraft maintenance experience would be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, corrosion, distortion, and other technical issues.
• Carry out military aircraft phase servicing, inspections, component replacement, and operational checks per OEM manuals and instruction.
• Perform maintenance, repairs, system troubleshooting, rigging and functional checks on Flight Control, Fuel, ECS, Hydraulic, Oxygen and Engine systems.
• Carry out scheduled servicing, inspection, and operational checks on military aircraft.
• Complete all tasks within allocated time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers, and FAA.
• Document all work performed on military aircraft accurately.
• Promote safe working environment and coordinate with technicians and supervisors to ensure safety and quality guidelines.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Inspect and examine aircraft components for leaks, cracks, corrosion, distortion, and other technical issues.
• Carry military aircraft phase servicing, inspections, component replacement, and operational checks on Aero/Engine system in according to OEM Technical Manual, Special Technical Instruction, etc.
• Carry out maintenance, repairs, system troubleshooting, rigging and functional operational checks on Flight Control, Fuel System, Environmental Control System, Hydraulic System, Oxygen System and Engine System.
• Carry out schedule servicing, inspection, and operational checks on military aircraft.
• Complete all tasks according to allocated time frame and to the quality standards of our company, our customers, and the FAA.

• Carry out all required documentations for all jobs completed on military aircraft.
• Promote safe working environment within the workplace by monitoring others and yourself to ensure all tasks are performed within the technical manual procedures and safety/quality guidelines and communicate with other technician and supervisors to coordinate aircraft maintenance and keep apprised of safety concerns.
