Job summary

Qualifications

• CoC Class 1 or 2 for ship management
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Analytical, proactive and able to work independently
• Able to handle multiple projects and stay organized

Responsibilities

• Superintend all technical and safety matters on Company vessels
• Implement technical and safety policies on vessels
• Conduct repair, maintenance and servicing as directed by Fleet Manager
• Negotiate with Class Surveyors and report to Fleet Manager
• Advise Master/Chief Engineer on planned maintenance and supervise vessel staff
• Inspect machinery spaces for cleanliness and maintenance progress
• Perform damage surveys and prepare costing/reports
• Oversee dry-docking and ensure repairs/sailing plans are executed
• Prepare proposals to regulatory authorities or Recognised Organizations as needed
• Ensure vessel compliance with regulations and timely service instructions

Education

CoC Class 1 or 2 holders (shipping/sea-going)

Strong communication & interpersonal skills

Analytical, proactive, results-oriented

Ability to manage multiple projects
