Job summary

EXECUTIVE SHIP MANAGEMENT PTE LTD seeks a Chief Engineer for senior offshore/shipboard leadership on Oil and Chemical Tankers. You will oversee technical and operational performance, ensuring compliance with HSEQA policies while coordinating with owners, charterers and port authorities.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years as Senior Officer on Foreign Going vessels, with active management of PMS, ISM, PSC and flag/class requirements. Frequent overseas travel is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate Engineer with COC Class 1 (Unlimited FG).
• Experience as Chief Engineer on Oil/Chemical Tanker Foreign Going Vessels.
• Minimum 3 years in Senior Officer rank on Foreign Going Vessels.
• Proficient in PMS, ISM, PSC, flag and class requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned vessels, ensuring compliance with HSEQA policies and budgets.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, owners, and charterers; monitor Marine and Technical Operations.
• Oversee maintenance, repairs, surveys, inspections and docking.
• Ensure vessel certifications and surveys are kept up to date; plan dry-dockings.
