Job summary

SGX Group seeks a Technical Product Owner Lead (Corporate/Data Domain) to translate business problems into measurable product outcomes. You will shape scope, balance regulatory and technical feasibility, and drive decisions with evidence-based practices across business, engineering, and data teams.

You will build and lead a team of Technical Product Owners, leverage AI agents to accelerate discovery and specification, and advance the SDLC practices across the organisation.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years of experience across product management, product ownership, business analysis, engineering, or related roles with significant product responsibility.
• Experience leading complex products and teams, with accountability for outcomes rather than backlog administration.
• Strong product judgement: sharp problem framing, disciplined scope, evidence-based prioritisation, and comfort making decisions under ambiguity.
• Technical fluency, including the ability to read code, reason about APIs, data flows and architecture, and evaluate engineering trade-offs with senior technical teams.
• Hands-on experience using AI agents to prototype, specify, or validate ideas, not only to summarise documents.
• Strong communication and stakeholder leadership across business and technology, including in regulated and multi-stakeholder environments.
• You should be comfortable using product analytics, prototyping, and AI-assisted delivery tools.
• For data-focused products, you should bring strong data know-how, specifically in designing, mapping, and optimizing end-to-end data flows and pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Shape the right problem by understanding products, metrics, data flows, and roadmaps.
• Turn problems into artefacts like requirements, acceptance criteria, prototypes, and AI-assisted specs.
• Co-own the product roadmap with the Business, align with goals, regulation, and technology constraints.
• Prioritise based on evidence of user impact and business value, balancing scope and timeline.
• Lead vendors to align their roadmaps with SGX Group's ambitions and delivery needs.
• Build and lead a high-performing TP Owner team, incorporating AI-assisted discovery and SDLC practices.
