Job summary

Liberty Specialty Markets in Singapore seeks a Senior Technical Product Owner for Integrations & API to own complex application domains, prioritise backlogs, and drive delivery outcomes with stakeholders across IT and business.

You will collaborate with architecture, engineering, QA, operations and vendors to modernize platforms, ensure stability, and align with business needs; coach junior product owners and support knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in product ownership or related IT roles.
• 3+ years in a team lead or leadership role.
• Experience with complex application delivery and integrations.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methods.
• Experience with technical teams and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for complex domains; define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Partner with business users to clarify requirements and translate into technology outcomes; support release planning.
• Manage dependencies and risks across stakeholders and teams; track delivery and outcomes.
• Support incident analysis and root cause discussions requiring domain knowledge.
• Coach junior Tech Product Owners and support knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Summary:

The Senior Tech Product Owner owns one or more complex application domains and is accountable for backlog prioritization, delivery outcomes, stakeholder engagement, and continuous improvement. The role ensures the application domain is modernized, stable, and aligned to business needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Own and manage the product backlog for a complex application domain or multiple related systems .Define epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Prioritize work based on business value, risk, dependencies, and technical sustainability. Identify opportunities for automation, simplification, and modernization.
• Effective partnership with business users to clarify and prioritise requirements and translate them into technology outcomes. Work closely with architecture, engineering, QA, operations, and vendors to deliver changes. Support release planning and sprint governance.
• Manage dependencies and risks across multiple stakeholders and teams. Track delivery progress, business outcomes, and operational impacts.
• Support incident analysis, production issue triage, and root cause discussions where domain knowledge is required.
• Coach junior Tech Product Owners and support knowledge transfer within the team.

Job Experience:

• 7-10 years of experience in product ownership, business analysis, application delivery, or related IT roles with at least 3 years in a team lead or leadership position
• Strong knowledge of SDLC / agile delivery practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of application support, enhancements, and change delivery.
• Experience working with technical teams and vendors.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Job Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• Agile / product / business analysis certification advantageous.
