Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced software architect to lead design and delivery of microservice based solutions. You will guide development teams through technical design and ensure alignment with enterprise architectures.

The role demands hands-on Java expertise, API security, CI/CD, and diverse databases, with a track record of delivering complex enterprise integrations. You will work with senior stakeholders to shape roadmaps and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

10+ years of hands-on microservice delivery experience with Java ecosystem
Experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Batch and Drools
Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, WSDL, ESB/SOA and IBM MQ
Hands-on with JBoss and Spring Boot JARs with embedded Tomcat
API security including Spring Security, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, PKI
Unix/Linux scripting and Java design patterns
Git, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Veracode in CI/CD
Database expertise: Oracle, MS SQL, MariaDB or NoSQL
DevOps tools such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Veracode, Xraty
Knowledge of Control M and Linux with JBoss

Responsibilities

Lead the preparation of technical design documents and clarify requirements for development teams
Define test scope for SIT, UAT and Production with changes impact understanding
Leads Agile development and Squad team delivery
Communicate and influence architecture decisions to tech and business audiences
Contribute to group strategy and roadmaps for product architectures
Interface with senior stakeholders and other teams to drive results
Identify opportunities to leverage tech synergies to save costs and improve efficiencies
Proactively take initiatives and deliver to completion
