Job summary

NCS in Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineer to manage and optimize Windows Active Directory, Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure, and NetBackup backup solutions. You will work across enterprise systems to ensure reliability, security, and performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in infrastructure roles, 3+ years with Windows AD, and 2+ years with Nutanix and NetBackup. Strong scripting (PowerShell/Python) and ITSM experience are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in infrastructure or systems engineering.
• 3+ years administering Windows Active Directory environments.
• 2+ years with Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure.
• 2+ years with NetBackup or comparable enterprise backup solutions.
• Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Python).
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, and system architecture.
• Experience with incident management and ITSM practices.
• Optional: knowledge of AWS/Azure and hybrid IT environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Windows Active Directory Server environments (user mgmt, GPOs, security).
• Administer and optimize Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure platforms.
• Manage NetBackup backup and disaster recovery policies and procedures.
• Monitor systems and respond to incidents; perform root cause analysis.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell or Python to streamline tasks.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with IT teams on capacity planning, upgrades, and improvements.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for knowledge bases.
