Job summary

Optimum Solutions Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst with a strong background in payments processing to join a system upgrade programme.

You will assist in the technical setup of environments, interface testing, data flows, and DevSecOps pipelines, while coordinating data migration, cutover activities, and compliance reporting to ensure a smooth production transition.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in payments processing systems.
• Strong understanding of Java/.NET and SQL.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps.
• Ability to support complex migrations and cutovers.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Job description

For a System upgrade programme, we are looking to hire a Senior Systems Analyst with strong background on Payments Processing

Basic responsibilities:

• Assist in the technical setup of the system environments and support the technical requests such as firewall opening requests from the supplier.
• Assist the project manager on technical clarifications and updates to relevant teams.
• Support the capturing of technical and data flows related to the payment interface.
• Assist in the setup and testing of connectivity to all necessary system interfaces.
• Assist in coordination of the setup and testing of the DevSecOps pipelines and workflows.
• Create technical test cases and perform the necessary tests.
• Assist in compliance reporting updates.
• Assist in the data migration and System cutover activities.
• Support the subsequent decommissioning of the older system

Required years of experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience supporting and/or implementing payment and securities settlement systems.

Required technical skills and domain knowledge:

• Java and/or .NET development
• SQL
• Oracle Database and Microsoft SQL Server
• Software design and architectural patterns
• Continuous integration and DevOps practices
• Fault-tolerant infrastructure concepts
• Hands-on software development and application support experience
• System integration and technical testing
• Ability to support application redevelopment, migration, cutover and production operations

Preferred system/application experience

• Experience supporting and implementing payment and securities settlement systems
• Experience with securities-related systems and financial instruments is advantageous
• Experience supporting production/BAU applications and resolving operational issues
• Experience in application redevelopment, system migration, testing and cutover
• Experience working with vendors and multiple technical/business teams
• Financial institution and/or public-sector application experience is advantageous
