Job summary

Jobline Resources Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support and monitor health of business apps, servers, interfaces and databases.

The role involves coordinating patching, upgrades, and yearly disaster recovery exercises, collaborating with support teams and vendors to test, deploy fixes, and ensure smooth production operations for end users.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 4–5 years' experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems.
• Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems using Microsoft .NET / MS SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work independently.
• Customer-oriented with multitasking abilities.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support as needed.
• Monitor system health and performance of business applications, servers, interfaces and databases.
• Coordinate regular system maintenance, patching and yearly disaster recovery drills.
• Test and deploy patches and fixes with cross-team and vendor coordination.
• Liaise with vendors to troubleshoot bugs and deploy fixes to production.
• Engage with business users and other teams to maintain good rapport.
• Participate in business contingency activities.
• Manage setup and configuration of systems.
• Provide application and helpdesk support experience.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 primary application maintenance support, when required
• Monitor closely and review system health and performance of business applications, including servers, internal/external interface endpoints and databases
• Coordinate and participate in regular system maintenance, patching and upgrade activities, including yearly disaster recovery exercises
• Liaise closely with various support teams to test and deploy application patches, defect fixes to production environment in accordance with project methodologies and policies
• Liaise closely with vendors to troubleshoot application bugs, evaluate potential fixes, testing and deployment of fixes to production
• Liaise closely with business users & other teams and build good rapport.
• Participate in business contingency activities
• Manage the setup and configuration of systems
• Experience in application and helpdesk support

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent
• At least 4 - 5 years' experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems
• Experience in developing, implementing and maintaining IT systems using Microsoft .NET / MS SQL
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently
• Result and customer oriented with multi-tasking capabilities
• Ability to work under a fast-paced and dynamic environment
