Job summary

R SYSTEMS (SINGAPORE) PTE LIMITED is seeking an application development/coordination professional to work with delivery managers to develop and implement applications that support business needs in Singapore. The role involves liaising with infrastructure and development teams, overseeing BAU activities to ensure stability, and collaborating with users and vendors to address issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years of experience in application development or technical project

Qualifications

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Ability to collaborate and work with cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience in Linux/Unix is a plus.
• Experience in working with vendors to resolve technical issues is advantageous.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will work with delivery manager to develop and implement applications to support Business needs.
• Liaise with the infrastructure support and development teams.
• Oversee Business-As-Usual (BAU) activities, ensuring the stability and efficiency of the company's applications.
• Collaborate with users and vendors to promptly address and resolve application issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Work with our infrastructure team to test and complete various server and network upgrade projects.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.
• Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman.
• Able to contribute individually and collaborate well with cross-functional team.
• Hands-on experience in Linux, Unix is an added advantage.
• Experience in working with vendors to resolve complex technical issues is an added advantage.
• Proactive individual who takes ownership and drives tasks through to completion

EXPERIENCE

• Between 2 - 4 years of Application Development or technical project coordination
• Good understanding of infrastructure and software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and incident management processes.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle models (both Waterfall and Agile).
• Knowledge of Linux/Windows environments.
