Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior System Deployment Engineer for onsite work in Singapore. You will deploy and configure Windows and Linux servers, manage VM provisioning and HA/DR testing, and provide multi-level support for mission-critical airline/airport applications across VMware, OpenShift, and cloud environments.

The role requires deep expertise in Windows/Linux server builds, VM restoration, and automation scripting using PowerShell, Bash, and Python.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in system deployment, infrastructure support, or mission-critical IT.
• Strong Windows Server and Red Hat Linux experience.
• Hands-on VMware and/or Hyper-V expertise.
• Experience with ITSM, incident management, and recovery testing.
• Proficiency in scripting with PowerShell, Bash, Python.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, build, and configure Windows and Linux servers for apps.
• Manage HA/DR testing and production validation activities.
• Lead infrastructure recovery and VM restoration procedures.
• Coordinate with DBA, network, and security teams during incidents.
• Develop automation to reduce manual deployment tasks.
