Job summary

Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. is seeking an experienced SAP Consultant to join our team in Singapore. The role involves determining business needs, providing support for complex systems, and conducting training sessions while keeping abreast of SAP developments.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of relevant experience, particularly in Financials and Controlling modules of SAP. Islandwide transport will be provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a SAP consultant with a focus on Financials and Controlling.
• Experience in Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, and Sales & Distribution.
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA and FIORI is required.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Determine business needs via consultation, business analysis, and targeted observations.
• Assess existing SAP operation processes and recommend improvements.
• Provide support for difficult and complex system environments, assistance, and training to users.
• Act as a trouble‑shooter, successfully identifying system inconsistencies and implementing optimum business solutions and process enhancements.
• Participate in business analysis and technical design sessions with business and technical staff to develop requirement documents and ETL specifications.
• Support business and operational needs such as audit and compliance, both internal and external.
• Strengthen organizational capability and build downstream domain knowledge through facilitation of knowledge transfer sessions for employees.
• Keep abreast of the latest SAP offerings, updates, and developments.
• Analyze and identify SAP Service Pack impact, preparing release notes for transport, and preparing FFID logs and other SAP logs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a SAP consultant in a comparable industry, with a focus on Financials, Controlling, and Project System modules.
• Knowledge and experience in Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Sales & Distribution, Asset Management, Plant Maintenance, Product Lifecycle Management, Production Planning, Quality Management, and Customer Service is a plus.
• Required experience in SAP S/4 HANA and FIORI.
• Experience planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, implementing, documenting, and training in S/4 HANA Financials, Controlling, and Project System.
• Experience in making effort & duration estimates based on requirements, design, testing, and implementation, including data mapping and interface, is an added advantage.
