Job summary

VY SYSTEMS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is looking for an experienced System Analyst to analyze Java-based applications and prepare high-quality technical documentation including functional and technical specifications and design documents.

You will review source code, write SQL queries, and bridge business and technical stakeholders to ensure clear, concise requirements. Strong analytical and vendor management skills are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 6–7+ years of system/technical analysis in banking.
• Knowledge of CBPR+ standards and payment messaging.
• Familiarity with MEPS+ and domestic payments.
• Understanding of SWIFT MT and ISO 20022 message formats.
• Experience in payment systems or banking transformations.
• Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements for payment messaging.
• Experience in Java, Spring, and Oracle DB with SDLC knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical analysis on payment projects, understanding architecture and requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on solution, functional, and technical design.
• Suggest alternative solutions to improve performance while meeting business needs.
• Develop and review technical specifications and design docs.
• Manage vendors, facilitate quality reviews, and ensure deliverables meet standards.
• Review test strategies and participate in SIT/UAT and post-implementation testing.
• Analyze SDLC processes and recommend continuous improvements to stakeholders.
