Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore seeks a Lead Executive in the Planning & Risk Management Department to manage and analyse performance data, develop dashboards and reporting systems, and translate insights into recommendations for leadership decisions.

You will support organisational performance tracking, data management, dashboard development, and event/secretariat duties, collaborating with stakeholders across strategy, risk and operations; prior public sector experience is an advantage.

Job description

What the role is:

As a Lead Executive in the Planning & Risk Management Department, you will support the institution’s strategic direction by managing and analysing performance data, developing dashboards and reporting systems, and translating insights into recommendations that inform leadership decision-making.

What you will be working on:

Organisational Performance Tracking and Analysis

• Data Management:Manage the collection and reporting of performance data and other strategic indicators, and contribute to improving management processes, procedures, and systems.
• Dashboard Development:Build and maintain dashboards and data reporting systems.
• Performance Analysis:Support the analysis of performance data to ensure whole-of-institution alignment and inform leadership decision-making across strategy, risk and operations.

Event and Secretariat Support

• Support the organising and execution of events and/or meetings under the department’s ambit, as well as take on relevant administrative functions such as finance and procurement for the department.

What we are looking for:

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and collaborate with stakeholders, as well as work independently.
• Comfortable handling data and able to sense-make from a wide range of data and information.
• Able to crystallise key issues from the data and write in a structured manner.
• Prior working experience in the public sector is an advantage, but not a requirement.
