Job summary

Nanyang Polytechnic in Singapore seeks a Senior Assistant/Assistant Manager in the Planning & Risk Management Department to shape NYP’s strategic and institutional planning efforts. You will translate trends into coherent strategies, monitor performance, and generate insights to support management decision‑making.

You will work with colleagues across NYP to implement strategy, engage stakeholders, and analyse data to drive informed leadership decisions in a public sector context.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in strategic planning or corporate planning.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex issues into clear insights.
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across levels of the organisation.
• Experience working in the public sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Support the development and review of NYP’s strategic direction by analysing external trends and priorities.
• Strategy Implementation: Monitor the execution of strategic priorities and align plans with outcomes.
• Corporate Planning & Engagement: Drive institution-level planning, work planning, and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Performance Analysis: Analyse institutional data to identify insights and inform leadership decisions.
