Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Infrastructure SRE to join a focused L3 Support team delivering NextGen Archive and Enterprise Vault services to a global client base. You will manage daily operations, change control, capacity planning, and complex incident resolution, acting as a SME across NGA/EV deployments.

The role requires hands-on experience with object storage platforms, HCP, HCI, and related infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience with object storage and enterprise storage platforms.
• Strong understanding of backup, DR, and data protection strategies.

Responsibilities

• Act as Senior Storage SRE within a L3 Support team, interfacing with engineering and vendor support.
• Provision, configure, and troubleshoot NGA/EV platforms globally.
• Identify improvements to capacity, performance, and availability; influence roadmaps.
• Perform periodic capacity and performance planning and communicate findings.
• Provide life cycle management including upgrades and transition of services to ops.
