Job summary

Hitachi Vantara is seeking a Senior Infrastructure SRE to join a small L3 Support team responsible for NGA and Enterprise Vault services for a client, under SLAs. The role covers daily operations, change and capacity management, and complex incident resolution, with mentoring and SME guidance across teams.

Responsibilities include provisioning and troubleshooting HCP platforms worldwide, driving improvements to NGA/EV services, and providing cross-functional technical support.

Qualifications

• 7+ years’ experience in Object Storage technology (prefer HCP).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of core IT protocols, virtualization, servers, storage, networks, and security.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery for archives.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Senior Storage SRE within an L3 Support team.
• Provision, configure, and troubleshoot HCP platforms worldwide.
• Identify improvements for NGA/EV services including capacity and performance.
• Lead incident response and communications with technical teams.
• Mentor junior staff and provide SME guidance.
