Job summary

NTT Data Singapore is seeking a RHEL L3 Engineer to support a 24/7 on-call rotation across a large RHEL environment. You will handle incident response, ensure uptime, and work with distributed APAC teams on security, changes, and service delivery.

You should bring 10+ years in RHEL operations, strong English communication, and cloud/virtualization experience with VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV. RHCE/RHCSA are desirable, with a focus on robust DR and CIS benchmarks.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) operations.
• Willingness to participate in rotational on-call support, including nights and weekends.
• Strong understanding of SLAs, RTO, and RPO in enterprise IT environments.
• Hands-on with SolarWinds and PRTG for monitoring and proactive resolution.
• Experience in multicultural, geographically dispersed APAC teams.
• ITSM knowledge and ServiceNow experience.
• Able to work independently and with various stakeholders in an APAC team.
• Fluent business English for documentation and incident reporting.
• Deep RHEL expertise (RHEL 7/8/9, kernel patching, DR).
• VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV virtualization knowledge.
• Cloud experience with Azure and AWS.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable under pressure.
• RHCE/RHCSA or equivalent desirable; SELinux/CIS benchmarks/audit logging.

Responsibilities

• Participate in rotational on-call support for incident response.
• Maintain a 24/7 uptime posture across 500+ servers.
• Monitor systems with SolarWinds/PRTG and drive proactive resolutions.
• Collaborate with APAC teams across DCS, security, and country IT teams.
• Follow ITSM processes (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Request) using ServiceNow.
