Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced L3 Infrastructure Engineer to deliver advanced support for enterprise-grade infrastructure in Singapore. You will own complex incidents, drive root cause analysis, and guide junior engineers while working across compute, storage, and virtualization domains.

The role emphasizes hands-on management of VMware vSphere/ESXi/vCenter, Cisco UCS, NetApp storage, and Veritas/Veeam backup systems, with ITIL-aligned incident, problem, and change processes.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide L3 support for complex infrastructure incidents escalated from L1/L2 teams.
• Troubleshoot server, virtualisation, storage, backup, and performance issues.
• Lead major incident investigations, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Ensure incidents are resolved within agreed SLAs and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Administer and troubleshoot VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, vMotion, and virtual networking.
• Manage Cisco UCS infrastructure, including UCS Manager, Fabric Interconnects, blades, service profiles, and firmware.
• Support physical and virtual servers, Windows Server administration, patching, upgrades, provisioning, and performance optimisation.
• Manage and troubleshoot NetApp storage, including SAN/NAS, NFS, SMB, LUNs, capacity, and performance.
• Administer and troubleshoot Veritas NetBackup and/or Veeam Backup & Replication.
• Support backup monitoring, recovery, replication, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity activities.
• Plan and execute infrastructure patching, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management activities.
• Develop implementation, validation, and rollback plans in accordance with change management procedures.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
• Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and improve infrastructure stability.
